What shaft length do I need?
The F15 is available in 15" (short) and 20" (long) shaft lengths. Measure your transom height from the top of the mounting bracket to the waterline with the boat loaded to normal operating weight. Short shaft fits transoms up to 15 inches; long shaft fits transoms from 16 to 20 inches. When in doubt, go long shaft.
Is the Yamaha F15 tiller or remote control?
The F15 is available in both tiller handle and remote control configurations. Tiller is the standard choice for small aluminum fishing boats where the operator sits at the back. Remote control is available if you're running a small console setup. Specify your preference when you request a quote.
Does the F15 have electric start?
Yes, the F15 is available with electric start. Manual start is also available. Electric start requires an onboard battery.
