Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of yamaha-outboard.ca and any purchase made through this site. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

About Us

Yamaha Outboards Canada operates yamaha-outboard.ca as an authorized Yamaha marine dealer based in British Columbia, Canada. We sell new Yamaha four-stroke outboard motors and rigging components to customers across Canada.

Authorized Dealer Status

All motors sold through this site are new Canadian-market inventory sold by an authorized Yamaha Marine dealer. Every unit carries the full Yamaha Motor Canada factory warranty. Our dealer authorization can be verified through Yamaha Motor Canada's dealer finder at yamaha-motor.ca.

Pricing

All prices listed on this site are in Canadian dollars and include freight and PDI. Applicable taxes (GST/HST and provincial sales tax where applicable) are additional and will be shown on your invoice. Installation is not included and is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Prices are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed in your written quote is the price that applies to your order.

Quote Process

We operate on a quote-based model. Submitting a quote request does not constitute a purchase or obligate either party. A purchase is confirmed when we provide a written invoice and payment is received.

Payment

We accept payment by major credit card and other methods as confirmed at time of sale. Full payment is required before a motor ships unless a financing arrangement has been confirmed in writing.

Financing

Financing is available on approved credit (O.A.C.) on all motors and rigging packages we supply. Financing terms are provided at time of quote. Approval is subject to credit assessment by our financing partner.

Orders and Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before the motor ships. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled. See our Refund Policy for full details.

Warranty

All new motors carry the Yamaha Motor Canada factory warranty. We do not provide any additional warranty beyond the Yamaha factory warranty. Warranty terms, exclusions, and service procedures are outlined in the Yamaha owner's manual and at yamaha-motor.ca. The 20-hour break-in service at an authorized Yamaha dealer is required to maintain warranty coverage.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Yamaha Outboards Canada's liability for any claim arising from a purchase through this site is limited to the purchase price of the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and applicable federal Canadian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
